Posts like these show a total misunderstanding of history. The society shown in the second picture is categorically more advanced than the one shown in the first. The scale of Roman architecture was enabled exclusively by access to brute force slave labour in massive quantities.
I wonder what this did to the psyche of the Italians and much of Mediterranean Europe, to live for centuries among the ruins of infrastructure that was impossible to recreate
