Just me, writing again about saving democracy, this time through boosting civic learning and engagement. We should do this here.
With this in mind, California and four other states have begun offering a State Seal of Civic Engagement to students who, among other things, study how government works and complete research papers demonstrating an understanding of our participatory form of democracy.
