👷‍♂️🏗👷‍♀️ Prompt pay legislation has landed in BC! Whether you're a worker, general contractor, subtrade, or supplier, prompt pay legislation helps ensure that the work you do to build a project is respected. 1/2 @NikiSharma2 https://t.co/RM5BLUuhlT

From phones to eBikes, lithium-ion batteries bring life to many things in our homes, but they can be dangerous if not handled properly. Learn how to stay safe while using lithium-ion batteries and educate others about battery safety: https://t.co/lNQ6yEKZIG

My husband and I picked up our grandchildren from school when they were little because their parents were at work. We cherished this time with them. But most working parents don’t have this kind of back up. I support this legislation that will make back up more collective.

Most parents don’t work 9-3 and may end up scrambling to pick up their kids after school. We’ve introduced legislation that, if passed, would allow school districts to offer seamless child care before and after school, on school grounds.

After years of devastating crop losses caused by extreme weather, this season’s record-breaking cherry harvest is a hard-earned win for BC tree fruit farmers. Let's keep supporting growers in our communities as they recover and adapt to protect future harvests.

BC’s growth is Canada’s growth. A TeamCanada approach means we can defend Canadian steel producers while ensuring BC has access to fairly priced steel, so we can build our infrastructure, grow the economy, and continue supporting steel workers in B.C. 👉🏾 https://t.co/5Xhiulr5n1

No matter our differences, we can all agree that political violence, especially the targeting of the home of an elected official, has no place in our province.

Last night at approximately 10 PM several vehicles and individuals approached my home and rocks were thrown at my home and vehicle. Police were called and investigated. While the motive or perpetrators remains unknown to me, this is very distressing in light of recent events.

Denying the horrific realities of residential schools is perpetuating anti-Indigenous sentiment. BC Conservative MLAs need to stand up, denounce this and continue holding people just like Dallas Brodie accountable. @McInnis_4MLA @WardStamer @PeterMilobar @MLABrennanDay

Spearhead is an industry leader in advanced timber fabrication – creating beautiful, custom designed, value-added wood projects here in BC and across the world. I had the opportunity in the spring to meet the team and tour their site in Nelson.

So... the BC Conservatives' position on infrastructure investments is... cut everything? Cut bridges. Cut transit. Cut schools. Cut hospital and cancer centre projects. Lay off thousands of workers and making services harder to access. Ok. Noted.

This is lunacy. Transportation Critic @HarmanBhanguBC says the BC Conservatives would make cuts by stopping infrastructure projects that are already underway - starting with the Pattullo Bridge, which is almost complete. 1/3🧵

Canada’s housing crisis is deepening. Carney quietly changed the definition of “affordable” housing—from 30% to 50% of a person’s income. That’s not affordability—it’s desperation. No one should spend half their income just to live. Build housing now.
