A venture capitalist is on cnbc saying he’s grateful to the government for bailing out his firms, then says he doesn’t think there needs to be rules against sweetheart bribes to vc’s with below market mortgages and that this wasn’t a bailout. Cool.

SV/VC Twitter doesn't understand why they're receiving pushback. It's not that those outside SV are against a strong government that steps in when needed. Rather it's the perceived hypocrisy of a group that appeared hostile to that very thing... until around noon yesterday.
