One of the bottles I polished off was a Kiwi whiskey - Waitui I didn't really appreciate how simple yet beautiful the label was until I got it onto the computer.

I love the embossed @BelgroveWhisky logo. I've got another picture featuring this bottle kill soon. Can't wait to share it.

Next up we saw the Kārearea/New Zealand Falcon. These guys were a bit hard to take a good photo while they were high up in the canopy but managed to get this one looking back at me.

We visited the nature reserve on Kapiti Island this week. It was a cracking day and we were lucky to see some amazing wildlife. The first we encountered was the weka, sometimes known as the "Day Kiwi". These cheeky things will hang out around the picnic areas looking for scraps.
