Huge Fortnite update on Friday night caused the largest ever traffic peak on the Chorus network at 4.39Tbps. @FortniteANZ That's an incredible 1 Terabit-per-second more than normal. No issues though because we aim to make our network as #CongestionFree as possible

Great to have more telco services restored in Gisborne and Wairoa today. Helicopters proving a key asset as the Chorus team work in unpredictable environments to get the network back up and running. Still managing to flash a smile for the camera though!

Great to be part of the discussion at the World Broadband Forum in Amsterdam this week. With fibre networks playing a critical infrastructure role in an increasingly digital world, good to share experiences on best way to maintain and operate. #NetworkX.
An interesting panel to close the morning headliners at #NetworkX chaired by @OmdiaHQ's Jaimie Lenderman, with Maximilian Oertle (@EWE_AG), JB Rousselot (@ChorusNZ)&Charlotte Hesp (@CityFibre) discussing understanding challenges, competition&demand to ensure #fibre network ROI
