Notwithstanding the year that I gave a talk, the @philosophicalBC conference has been a brilliant event. Genuine experts (*see above), passionate people, discussion and debate, good fun... I highly recommend.

Thanks to the extremely thoughtful @AlHellewell and the @philosophicalBC for planning what will be a really valuable set of discussions on Leading Change. I love the format - prerecorded videos leaving more time for live interactive sessions. https://t.co/RAFLwW72Ng

P-values do not tell the chance of your intervention working - see this open access article https://t.co/yjtCxHH6Da they tell you the likelihood the data you observed happened by chance given the null hypothesis is true @lisahmassey @Mcfark @Neil_J_Smart @debby_keller @bottomdoc

IBD Nurse Specialists are a lifeline for people with #Crohns or #Colitis. We want everyone to have one, so our new Nurse Specialist programme will fund 20 nurses annually to complete advanced nursing practice to care for people with Crohn’s or Colitis in the UK. #AwarenessWeek

GPs are burning out as there aren’t enough of them. A potential solution, do more clinical sessions - sound weird? - see this excellent video https://t.co/cbjXnwM0ae made by a participant on @ExeterMed MSc in Healthcare leadership @drandygriffiths @LouiseVennells @UniofExeter

Lovely view from top of 57 bus today ( I’m not doing it justice !!). I’m trying to do my bit for #ExeterLiveBetter @ExeterCX. If everybody changed their travel means just once a week and walked, cycled or used public transport that would mean 20% traffic on the roads every day !!
