I would like all the developers who have a negative view point of #OSS to write a green field application, with tests, CI/CD and not use a single OSS library. Then maybe we can talk about the value of #FOSS from a realistic starting point.

Here is my entry for the @UnoPlatform AI Challenge organized by @ThePracticalDev. I had some ideas in mind, but I ended up revisiting an old classic of my younger years Winamp and made it as a cross-platform app. My personal goal for this challenge was to create an interface

Been saying this for over a year. - Write your tests - Let AI write whatever code to light them green - Refactor when needed - Profit FWIW. This is the same model we used when Stack Overflow became the norm.

@ojuliomiguel AI is a power tool. The more powerful your tools the more important your disciplines. TDD is more important than ever to prevent the AI (and you) from hallucinating.

I spoke with @maddymontaquila last month about Aspire, having known almost nothing about it. I had a 12-hour flight yesterday, so I decided to migrate our customer + admin portal to use it. Really impressed so far! I can 100% see how it’ll help the team. ❤️

Probably my favorite new discovery... I've been trying to find a good way to test my Databases & Azure Storage integrations for years... I always knew Containers could help but just never knew how easy it could be to use them from a unit test!

"How Do You Fix 70% Data Loss Across 1 Million Concurrent Connections?" - this is a question a Production @AkkaDotNET Support customer asked us earlier this year. We solved it. Here's how we did it:

The fact that I can use the @UnoPlatform MCP Server to have it take a screenshot of the running app, analyze the screenshot, iterate through UI changes, and even close the app itself is.. *chefs kiss* Not to mention the AI Agent in Hot Design. This is impressive!

So I get it architecture is bad. Design Patterns are bad. Anti-Patterns are "good" in that we avoid them even when we say patterns are bad. Serious Question: Is encapsulation bad too?

git blame culture is toxic. git bisect culture is productive.

@rlittlesii @andi0b spicy opinion, inheritance is bad too and abstract classes are mostly a waste of time. so are interfaces tbh
