Bulleit is crap. So is Mumford. Nobody smoked pipes. Everyone used those stupid Edison bulbs. Don’t blame the hipsters for that one.
Durable shoes, pants and glassware are still good ideas. And motorcycles are great.

I still do this.
However, DC has some things going in its favor:
-It's easier to get out of the city/into the country
-Your eyes will enjoy the way ads aren't plastered on every surface
-If you have a bike, it's a lovely bike city (though your bike will be stolen at some point)
