Thanks for amplifying @cdavidnaylor, this report from @UMR4NIH really underscores, at minimum, the economic case for investment in medical research. @CIHR_IRSC needs to catch up so we can maintain our global reputation + cultivate potential for the future.
Thx to @rishibansalMD for flagging this slide deck on the economic impacts of NIH funding. . US $ growth reflects bipartisan support for sustaining health research. CIHR has fallen far behind while ISED steers massive tranches of health research $. 🆘
