Immunology SpR and Wellcome-HRB ICAT fellow studying chronic spontaneous urticaria
Joined November 2009
I was delighted to be invited to present at the European Congress of Immunology yesterday, where I discussed our findings on myeloid progenitors in chronic spontaneous urticaria and atopic dermatitis. Thank you #ECI2024 for hosting a great meeting. @EFIS_Immunology @ICATProgramme

The case for making peas a declared food allergen is compelling given the now ubiquitous use of pea protein in foods. @FSAIinfo
Pea allergy is a growing issue. Main problem are the number of foods that are now being made with pea protein. Why do you need pea protein in a bun?! Interesting article in the Guardian from a consumer with a pea allergy that really highlights this issue.

We were delighted to host you - warm congrats on your excellent work š„³
We were privileged to work with the Hallgren Lab @JH_MastCellLab who hosted me in Uppsala in May 2022. We gained so much from their expertise on working this cell type.
