Food Banks 20 years ago you didn't see any, now they are everywhere But why? Because all donations made to Food Banks are tax deductible for the supermarkets, and of course if your staff/benefit claimants rely on Food Banks you can pay less So they have spread like the plague

Outside Parliament: If an MP makes public statements (e.g., on social media, at rallies, in interviews) that amount to a criminal offence, police could investigate. So .@metpoliceuk if an MP is continually hating on disabled people, what are you going to do about it?
Taxpayers are funding Motability cars for people on benefits which they can't even afford themselves. In the past, being in the ECHR stopped us fixing this. Under @KemiBadenoch @Conservatives would leave the ECHR and get a grip of Motability.

No it doesn't. But it does uphold the rights of those most vulnerable members of society. Leaving the ECHR was always about attacking vulnerable UK citizens, and now it's in the open.
@Helen_Whately @KemiBadenoch @Conservatives What utter codswallop is this? Motability has nothing to do with the ECHR.

It's not 'embarrasing'. It shows exactly why Tories & Reform want to leave the ECHR. So they can attack disabled people and remove their support, along with attacking other vulnerable groups.
@Helen_Whately @KemiBadenoch @Conservatives That’s embarrassing. Conflating ECHR with motability funding. #sadjoke

NHS GP £169/pts/yr 58million people in 🏴 Cost: ~£10 billion What about a private system? 383.8 million GP apts/yr £80/apt (not including referral fees & extra tests) Cost: ~£30 billion You could double GP spending & still save ~30% what you would in a private system

Covid fraud under the Tories cost UK public £10.9bn. VIP lane, crony contracts. Lack of anti-fraud controls Money given for non-existent workers Newly formed companies got money No competitive tenders Poor checks on quality What would be recovered? https://t.co/lmODiayDWJ

The counter-fraud and error measures during the pandemic under the Conservative Government were accused of being 'so lax they may as well have left the door wide open'

Had a great time watching some of the downhill mountain bike racing at Tamar Trails this morning. Bowie wasn't phased in the slightest by the spectators or racers! It was wonderful seeing kids and adults taking part and having a fantastic time!

I've really noticed that Reform MPs and their online cheerleaders don't like my call for a: ▪️Cap on individual donations to *any* political party ▪️Ban on all MPs’ second jobs I wonder why that is? Our democracy should not be for sale!

Good afternoon everyone! Over the last few days, quite a few of you have commented saying, “With all this rain, surely the reservoirs must be overflowing by now?” Well… you’d think so, wouldn’t you? With the amount of rain we’ve had lately, it feels like Cornwall has been

It is a madness... We work for the war machine. We work, to fund their wars, wars that kill the innocent. Manufacture weapons...the jobless shall work. Buy stuff you don't need with money you don't have... save our beloved economy. Is this the life you really want?
