A lovely evening cycle around Badminton area (NE Avon) made much better by my 3rd Quail singing away and some showy Little Owls nearby ☀️ @bristolbirding

Didn’t expect the Eastville Pink-foot to be the second best bird I saw in Bristol this week!

Slimbridge White-spotted Bluethroat showing really well today, both sides of the hide. My first time for it, but gather it’s not always that easy! @slimbridge_wild

Fairly quiet bank holiday, but nice to catch up with my fourth Bonaparte’s Gull on my old patch in the last two years, seemingly commoner than Ring-billeds now @CBWPS1

Not many better ways to spend a Spring afternoon than listening to Wood Warblers. 5 in a short walk in the Quantocks this afternoon, where an okay population still persists @Hull17Matt

Cornwall county rarities in the first 8 days of April 2024 (left) and this year (right). Shows what some nice Southeasterlies can do! And it doesn’t include all the Hoopoes and the Accentor!

Mixed Willow/Chiff singer at Kenidjack today, second in as many years. Of the phrases it did. c60% mixed song, c30% pure Chiff and c10% pure Willow. Looks-wise a bit in-betweeny too
