There was nothing more magical than going to the strip mall games store and talking with the nerdy dude who knew all the cool, obscure lore and details on any game you asked about. It felt like entering a hidden world of fantasy and fun when you were a kid.
Video Games were better in every single way when it was a hobby made by and for nerdy/weird dudes and asians.

NYTF quick thoughts: NECA delivers surprise & cool reveals. Mattel has solid plans in place for year. S7 showing life but has to figure out retail pricing. Playmates đź‘Ť McF found plenty of licensing. SW very meh so far. GIJoe new character intros are strong. ML hits and misses.

I’m biased, but while the GI Joe team has cranked out nothing but bangers… What are the other Hasbro brands cookin’? Most of their other Toy Fair offerings feel mid at best… Yeah, a few cool figures, but the Black series, Legends, & Transformers offerings seem so lackluster.
My analysis of the G.I. Joe Classified reveals from Toy Fair 2026. I am buying at least 1 of each… In a normal world, each figure would be its own wave’s standout. But this line gives us perfection in every Single toy. Here are my 4 favorites, but let’s take a look at each:🧵
