A few important moments: Storm Shadow and Stalker are captured by the Jugglers The White Clown returns and calls out the racism in the resistance Snake Eyes is so entranced, he does not save a little girl’s father. (Bet she grows up to become an enemy) Major Bludd returns!

I could gush about this issue forever. It’s one of my all time favorites. Snake Eyes completely unleashed. His only mission is to find George Strawhacker: Some of the best action in all of GI Joe is in this issue.

But in a miracle, Scarlett awakens from her coma. And only wants Snake Eyes… who is dropping out of a plane. Yikes. At this point, the storylines are becoming so complex and intertwined, but it’s so darn good.

Cobra Commander can brainwash them again with a simple word “Broca”. Now Mutt and Spirit are imprisoned for their terrorist actions. Storm Shadow places Snake Eyes in a trance called the Arashikrage mindset. He now lives only to complete the mission.

Roadblock and Misha fight for their lives in the jungle of Sierra Gordo. Eventually being injured enough to team up and move forward. Mutt and Spirit finally receive back up, but not in the way they hoped. Hawk and Law arrive and find Millville is not brainwashed!

Storm Shadow invades the Jugglars and demands them send the distraught Snake Eyes on a mission. One they tried to bury all those years ago. George Strawhacker. The fiancée of Snake Eyes’s sister Terri who has been a POW for years.

In America, Scarlett’s estranged sister, Siobhan, has done the unthinkable. She ordered life support ended. In a fit of rage, a distraught Snake Eyes tears off his bandages and painfully utters a single word: “Scarlett” Great issue by Hama.

In Millville, the young unit firebombs several Cobra targets and strips a BUGG for ammo and parts. Spirit shows Russ and Mutt that these young men have lost their youth in this war. I freaking love the Mamba helicopter. Number one wanted HasLab that will never happen.

Flint’s unit & the Oktober Guard are pursued by Darklon. An Evil Knievel stunt saves them. They find themselves among the Tucaro natives whom Recondo lived among. Speaking his codename gives them an advantage.
