4/ Physicians currently have a 2.93% cut in 2025. Congress is mulling stopping the bleeding w/ the 2025 cut--physicians have to band together & let Congress know that these cuts hurt access to care & patient care

Thx! "While substantial challenges remain, the advocacy successes of the ACR reflect a commitment to collaboration; collaboration btwn commissions within the ACR, btwn staff and members & collaboration w/ other organizations." Special thanks to @GregoryNNicola for the invite.
The latest MPFS final rule showed a 16th straight year without a positive update in the impact table for diagnostic radiology, something that needs to change. @reh3md knows this can change through advocacy efforts, and he knows that @RadiologyACR is perfectly equipped to handle

I'm a pediatrician. For 15 years I did hospitalist work. That meant I went to difficult deliveries where mom and baby were sick, I saw sick patients in the ER that needed to be intubated, some had critical airways or hard to get IVs. In these and many more cases, the patient

Thanks for the kind words. More importantly, thanks for being a supporter & friend. Exciting to learn about the impactful work you are doing to promote sustainability.
Great to catch up with @RSNA Board Member, @reh3md, yesterday. Rich was a med student when I was an IR fellow at Northwestern. He stood out for his knowledge, caring spirt, & work ethic. We've stayed in touch over the years. Wonderful to see his impact on radiology! #RSNA24

A well titled article from @modrnhealthcr on the troubled implementation of #NoSurprisesAct. Take home message: even though required to by law, insurers are frequently ignoring decisions of independent arbiters which can impact patients' access to care. https://t.co/bJSm2PVMC6

An honor to speak at #KCR2024. My 2 take home messages from this meeting: 1) the workforce challenges we are facing in the US are not unique; 2) Outstanding conference & wonderful hospitality from our Korean hosts.

To my fellow health care tweeps--time to get out of the doctor's/administrator's/lawyer's/nurse's lounge and into the game! There is a "Dear Colleague" letter being circulated in the House to stop the Medicare cuts (excerpt below)--let's get on it.

In 1993, I went to Lollapalooza, featuring Alice in Chains, Arrested Development, Fishbone & more. What a year for music! Ticket prices & the Medicare physician pay rate were each ~ $32. The proposed Medicare pay rate for 2025 is still ~ $32. Lolla tickets? A lot more than $32.

The proposed 2025 Medicare provider payment rate is below 1994 rates. Let's hope that Congress recognizes the importance of the Medicare system & realizes that their action is necessary to protect it. Read more: https://t.co/K4m2G6kh1t Thx @medpagetoday & @genevievefri
