Even pregnant women are forced to walk for 5-8 hrs everyday to get drinking water in Tikuri Village in Bundelkhand. The wells, borewells & hand-pumps have all run dry in the extreme heat. "When kids cry in the middle of night we give them contaminated water, what else can we do?"
