I won’t be bullied into an ideology by those who weaponize identity, labels, or moral superiority to force submission. When thought policing replaces free thinking, it stops being discourse. It becomes a cult.

Both sides are now targeting upstream (ie, production) oil and natural gas assets. Is this an attempt to escalate to de-escalate? Or is it simply a sign that escalation is spiralling out of control?

Pahlavi attempts to portray himself as a democrat who could be a 'transitional' leader in a post-regime Iran, but the movement he 'leads' has exhibited alarming behavior, writes ex-ally Alireza Nader.
