You are worrying about jobs lost in China unbelievable as if every American has a job here in the United States as if every American company is winning unreal. There are tons of Americans great ideals hard workers would love a job focus on that make America first

I absolutely get your wanting to throw Xi a bone with such a large company, but if your Commerce Dept is right, ZTE broke VERY important US law and then lied about it. Aid and comfort to our enemies, right? Hard to see "middle ground" on this.

I trust Trump. Our motivation should not be retribution. We need to desire a prosperous China and a desire to slowly correct what China was able to freely take and accomplish because of past poor leadership by our own trade US officials. Our aim is to benefit both economies.

The British became an empire through trade! The Spanish went after gold, when the gold was gone, nothing was left. Trade lasts forever. The richer China becomes the more the balance will move back to the US. Everyone wins in a genuine free market economy!
