Last year this team’s rotation and bullpen were elite but the offense was garbage. This year the offense has been fine for most of the season but the rotation hasn’t been elite. And it hasn’t helped that the best SP got injured and has had to come out of the ‘pen once.

Update: It is the fourth inning. Shohei Ohtani has thrown four shutout innings, allowed one hit, struck out six and hit a pair of home runs. The first went 446 feet. The most recent, to give the Dodgers a 4-0 lead, went 469 feet and nearly left the stadium. The best. Period.
