Anyway the absolute peak for this franchise *is* winning a World Series but only in a way that will fashion them as one of the greatest Cinderella stories in the history of the sport, and that’s not an accident. That is the ceiling of their ambition. It’s not changing!.

It’s almost as if this franchise is stuck in purgatory since its highest ranking baseball executive loudly and proudly told everyone their organizational goal was purgatory. Weird how that works.

Seriously though why on earth would you want this front office to sell this year? Just play it out. They have a really good chance to make the playoffs! If they don’t make it just clean house and hire someone who thinks building a good major league roster is kind of important.

I’m not sure I think his play makes him a slam dunk All-Star but the game is never fully about merit anyway. It’s a credit to Julio someone so young has earned enough popularity and recognition he wins these edge cases. Also he’s your team’s player why be upset?!.
