We eat Pecan pie here in Texas. I have a huge pecan tree in my yard . Most winters I get 70 pounds or so.

My Little Grey Lucy Dog had to be put down today. She had started struggling to breath the last couple days. We took her to the vet today and her heart was so enlarged that it was pressing against her lungs. I couldn’t watch her struggle anymore.

Lilacs are so beautiful smelling. I just wish they bloomed all summer. We don’t do it like we did when I was younger but I loved the smell of sheets and towels that had just been taken off the clothes line.
