Ottawa transfers billions of dollars to provinces each year for healthcare. That is great. A developed country should invest in quality health care for its citizens. But there is a serious problem. Prashant Sreekumar died after he and his family pleaded for care for eight hours

Many Canadians, are deeply affected by the death of Prashant Sreekumar. That grief is real and justified. At the same time, it’s important to recognize that this tragedy reflects a much deeper, systemic failure. Every year, thousands of Canadians experience delayed or inadequate

System wide changes are required. What we see here in this incident and more we get into the intricacies of it the farther we move from the solution. There needs to be more doctors, more medical schools, shorter wait lists, proper allocation of federal funds and complete
How does this not infuriate you as a Canadian? What Happened: Sreekumar experienced severe chest pain while at work around midday. A client drove him to the hospital, where he arrived between 12:15 and 12:20 p.m. He was triaged, underwent an electrocardiogram (ECG) that staff

Thousands of Canadians die every year waiting for care and thousands are turned away from the ER every week without being seen. It’s unfortunate that a developed country like Canada is getting criticized on the international stage for poorly handling its own affairs, especially a

@JMeddings @markroseman This got everyone’s attention because the brave lady decided to speak up on camera with her husband’s body next to her and doctors watching. Loved ones of countless Canadians who never get to see the end of their wait for treatment undergo similar experiences. Yet nothing gets
