I had an amazing time celebrating and speaking at the 25th anniversary event for Jaku Konbit on Parliament Hill last weekend. The organization supports the economic, cultural and social development of the Black community, especially youth, in Ottawa.

It was a pleasure to attend the presentation of the “Key to the City” to tennis star Gabriel Dabrowski by Mayor Sutcliffe this week at City Hall along with Councillors Kavanagh, Plante, Bradley, Skalski and Dudas and @RideauSports founder and CEO Nicki Bridgland.

It was great to join my colleagues Councillors Johnson, Luloff and Brockington in welcoming Youth Futures participants to City Council this week! The City program successfully provides leadership and employment training for Ottawa youth.

Pleased to take Police Chief Eric Stubbs on a comprehensive tour of Rideau-Rockcliffe Ward last weekend to meet with merchants, residents and a community association to discuss key public safety concerns.
