Very Excited about this release! I am so inspired by the fullness and joy of these masterful violin duets, and also that it is a husband and wife - shows how music, especially improvised, can be the most intimate of communication
Thrilled to be releasing violinists Trina Basu & Arun Ramamurthy's debut record NAKSHATRA on 1/20/23. The duo draws from Indian classical music, Western chamber music & jazz to create a sound that as @NewYorker said, is “free-flowing & globe-spanning.”
