It’s abhorrent that UnitedHealth couldn’t be bothered to adopt minimum cybersecurity tools to protect the private medical records of one-third of Americans from cyberattacks. I have a bill that would require bare minimum standards to avoid these catastrophes.
We knew the UnitedHealth Group cyberattack from earlier this year was bad. But now we know just how all-encompassing the incident really was.
