Let's be absolutely clear, this finance deal is nothing more than an egregious denial of climate justice. Rich countries have strong armed developing nations into accepting a woefully inadequate deal that will further erode trust and hinder climate action. Shameful & unjust.

I’m so relieved we got a climate finance deal over the line in Baku. To fail would have been unforgivable, to succeed, brings hope to a divided world. We now need to deliver the money and reform of the international financial system to protect the most vulnerable the most. #COP29
