i think both candidates are perfectly fine but not without risks and a hotly contested primary is probably a good way to figure out which is stronger & whose skeletons are more damning

the courts are generally overburdened & underfunded. this isn’t fair to defendants or plaintiffs or victims or the accused. they just need more money to handle more cases

this is a very real and very pressing problem but the incredibly simple answer is to hire more translators. no one should not understand their trial and hiring more translators (and letting them appear remotely for procedural hearings) would solve this
"Adjourned" in this case means "postponed." He has a new hearing date, it's not like charges have been dropped. That being said, even in American courts, I've seen how much translation requirements bog down and drag out court proceedings, usually to the benefit of the accused.
