Sounds like that entirely arbitrary schedule isn’t very efficient then.
I’ve yet to meet one person who works from home that actually works from 9am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch in-between with the occasional bathroom break.

Recently ran a D&D caravan murder mystery. After death #1, party asks the butcher if he did it since he has knives. He exclaims YOU DO TOO & rants about entitled adventurers thinking they can kill whoever they want. They were so embarrassed they stopped investigating immediately
