I've been waiting for 40 minutes for my public healthcare appointment. Last time I came here I was a kid, and I absolutely hated the boredom of waiting. Makes me feel grateful that phones and social media exist now, the wait is so much more bearable.

So much time wasted arguing that superintelligent AI would be able to escape to the internet and take over without robots. I wonder how many people would have accepted "It will be connected from the start and there will be robots", even when people had >30-year timelines.

Yes, your appliances are substantially cheaper than in 2011. CPI for appliances (which includes quality adjustments in this case) has gone a bit up and down but is now ~10% lower. Nominal wages are 50% higher. Combining both effects appliances are now about 40% cheaper

It's so weird that the Super Heavy booster seems to work perfectly, including the catch, and yet the ship itself continues to have so many issues. I would have predicted the booster catch to be the harder part.
