Just can’t leave people stranded like that, and then knowingly continue to put people in that position. Everyone knew the next coaches of folk weren’t going to get beyond Dundee, or at least would have to figure out onward travel on their own once they got there.

I booked a CityLink bus from there, as the roads S were fine by this point, but Scotrail weren’t providing us with any options. Almost 12 hours Aberdeenshire - Edinburgh. Highlight was this poor tall guy having to repeatedly close the bus sunroof!

They went north with empty coaches. On instruction, the drivers thought it mad too. All staff tried but bosses weren’t listening. They just couldn’t offer us any options. Told no further travel or accom would be reimbursed.

Today @ScotRail put coaches of folk from Abdn-Dundee saying they’d get us to Edin/Glas, unloaded us there, and told us we were on our own and to make our own arrangements from there. Then the drivers were told to go North and bring more people down. Chaos.

I’ve never seen a hummingbird hawk moth in Scotland let alone Aberdeenshire 😮 @savebutterflies @WildlifeTrusts this one just rocked up outside the window!

My cat is in love with @AlexHorne . At first I thought she just liked taskmaster but she gets bored when the tasks comes on and often sits at Alex’s side of the tv. Colour bars to hide me with my feet up eating hummus.

Thanks @WhoGivesACrapTP and @PetsatHome for indirectly providing my cats with their Parisian cafe / moulin rouge playhouse. Unbelievably they actually use it! I also use the scrunched TP wrappers as toys and obviously the cat food so win all round 🐾🐈⬛🐈⬛

Shall we talk about how unfair it was for the protesters too? 🙄 https://t.co/FkZFj6XNzi

Alice Chambers was handcuffed on the Mall when police officers mistook her for a Just Stop Oil protester.

All these fellow millennials’ parents giving them deposits and my mum is calling me a snob for only using a tea bag once 🤷🏻♀️

👩🔬 Today we're celebrating #WomenInScienceDay! Hear from our PhD student Anam about how a fascination with fixing things led her to challenge gender stereotypes in her home country, and pursue studies in mechanical engineering at @EdinburghUni.

I'm still reeling that our Prime Minister considered not going to COP. I found it interesting that he followed these 280 awkward characters with a tweet pandering to farmers...
There is no long-term prosperity without action on climate change. There is no energy security without investing in renewables. That is why I will attend @COP27P next week: to deliver on Glasgow's legacy of building a secure and sustainable future.

Profoundly upsetting to watch, so do so with caution. I hope the woman is recovering well. Maybe this is enough to demonstrate that members of the public shouldn't have to put themselves in this kind of danger to stop illegal activities? https://t.co/EOouHtY6rT

I bought a cape for a lazy halloween costume and it's not going to come on time. So now I am the sort of person who owns a cape for no good reason.
