Excellent model visualization showing the transport of #PlasticPellets lost from the Toconao container ship. As @oceana say: The spilled plastic may be out of the headlines, but it is not out of the ocean!.
Where have the plastic pellets gone? The Toconao spill may have disappeared from the front pages, but not from the open sea. Oceana's computing model shows how the nurdles spread. plastic never goes away!.#MarinePlasticLitter

It has just taken me 3 and a half days of troubleshooting to fix a problem in a model. Not sure if I should celebrate that it ended up being 2 lines of code to fix 🎉, or cry that it took me 3 and a half days to figure that out! 🤷♂️ #phdchat.
