how fast is “responsive confirmation” with almost zero overhead? sitting on a farm with 250 ms ping → 250 ms confirmation sitting in US/EU with 120 ms ping → 120 ms confirmation sitting next to the servers → basically instant the speed of light is the only bottleneck

hear me out. signing every operation is too slow. what if you just signed once to pay and open a secure session with validators? then use a shared key — like TLS — to encrypt all messages. chain the ops, and only sign the final one. done. but what even goes into the blocks…

The future of trading—fast and fair markets built on pod. Check out @aaronbassett's blog on batch auctions. Welcome to the pod team Aaron! LFG! 🚀

For 20+ years, finance has been a race measured in microseconds. Firms literally blast through mountains for straighter fiber-optic cables. 🧨⛰️ The problem? In a first-come, first-served system, speed = power. The fastest algorithms win—not the smartest traders.

The latency arms race that shaped traditional finance shouldn’t define DeFi. @poddotnetwork’s fast batch auctions replace FIFO with a system where speed meets fairness.

A fairer future of finance — powered by pod's fast batch auctions. ⚡️ Traditional markets operate on a “first-in, first-served” (FIFO) basis. This creates a latency arms race — HFT firms spend billions on colocation and straighter fiber just to shave off nanoseconds. The result?

Today’s financial markets reward proximity and speed. Algorithms exploit microseconds to front-run trades and shape market flow. pod changes the rules—leveraging batch auctions to build markets that are both fast and fair. 👉New blog:

zk-proofs don't provide any security benefits to sequencer-based order books! sure, zk proofs can confirm that the matching engine ran the algorithm correctly. but who decides what orders went into the matching engine? the sequencer! a malicious sequencer can: • insert
