but this was not enough for jefferson. he started writing home to everyone he knew and DEMANDED they ship to france, taxidermied, the largest animals they could obtain. he started bringing these to social functions while representing them as small examples of american wildlife

We're pointing out that it makes it very unlikely the shooter was a hard-right conservative. This narrative of trans-blaming is coming from YOU.
If this report is true, then using it to demonize the entire trans community doesn't make sense. It sounds like the trans person involved had no knowledge of the crime and worked with FBI to hold the killer accountable.
