See our concerns about @sheffielduni @USPSheffield students' assessment following the @ucu @sheffielducu marking boycott. Remember our working conditions are students' learning conditions. A lockout is not the way forward, negotiation is.

Thanks @InvisibleMapper for your support, politically & financially, @sheffielduni 's 100% pay deduction position is an odd way to build staff morale & enhance the university's reputation @sheffielducu.
Y/day comrades at @sheffielduni were 'locked out' of work due to the Marking + Assessment Boycott as management are docking 3 weeks salary for 'partial performance'. I'll be donating to the @sheffielducu local strike fund + very angry w/ university actions. Solidarity.

Day 2 of 3 wks of zero pay for participating in @ucu's marking boycott @USPSheffield. @sheffielduni's a serious outlier with a distressing collapse in usually better industrial relations. Read @SimonRushton8's thread below. @UCEA1 pls restart talks with @ucu asap @sheffielducu.
As of today, for the next three weeks, I am ‘locked out’ by my employer, on zero pay, for participating in @UCU’s Marking and Assessment Boycott. A short thread on why I am participating. 1/6.
