This is probably the best photo of Damar Hamlin in my archives, or at least the one that best shows his personality. Here he is at Senior Day in 2019. What a warm and beautiful smile. May we see it again soon.
Before the game, this person came up to me, said hello, and asked how I was doing. It was Quadree Ollison of the Falcons! What a wonderful feeling to be greeted on the sideline by an NFL player. I have no idea how he remembered me, I'm not around the team very much.
Nick Patti's heroic run to gain a first down and set up the winning Sun Bowl score. Note the look of determination on his face in the first shot. He was not to be denied.
Devonshire's epic pick-six against WVU. Thanks to modern cameras, I have 45 in-focus shots of the return. I was also fortunate to be in the right spot.
A special moment from last night. Larry spotted me in a crowd! Told him I have a photo on display in the Press Box. He said we had to have a photo taken together in front of the shot. So we all went up the elevator and here we are.
Right after the winning Sun Bowl kick. Saul (90) runs off in excitement, the holder Cam Guess (92) looks on in seeming disbelief, and Trey Anderson (54) has probably never jumped higher in his life.

So sorry to hear of the trial's outcome. Please don't let it discourage you from continuing to fight the good fight. And I hope you're able to find a resolution for your emotional pain, or at least that it diminishes over time.
There was some real excitement on the sideline during Bartholomew's catch-and-run. Could somebody please identify this Football staffer to went airborne?
The shot of Ray Vinopal in the middle-right is from Pitt's 28-21 victory in 2013. One of my favorite reaction shots. Delivered it to Pitt and never saw it again until today. Am so happy it's in the HOF.
@PittBorghetti
Just got home with over 2000 images...but wanted to quickly Tweet this shot as it's probably the
@PittBand
image everybody wants to see first...the Millenium Falcon!
Congratulations to our 2021
@PittBand
Seniors! What a tumultuous time to be in the Band. But they stuck it out and were rewarded with an excellent band and a wonderful Football season with much more to come!
@A10Champs
I was in the Pitt Band in 1976. Majors had a huge impact on my life, doubt I'd be a football photographer otherwise. A couple of shots of him from a reunion of the 1976 team in 2006.
@PittBorghetti
Just got home from the game and gotta get these shots of
@CrissyShan
out there. Glad she did not shish kebob her foot with the mace.

10 years ago today I took one of my favorite shots ever of
@PittBand
Director Emeritus Jack Anderson. He's leading the cheer of "Lets Go Pitt" while on the shoulders of the
@OaklandZoo
at the 2008 Big East Championship at MSG.
Many of you in the
@PittBand
family came up to me and hugged me, patted me on the back, or said they were thinking of me. This support is greatly appreciated and helped me get through a difficult day. Thank you!
Submitted photos to Pitt for use during 2019 Football season. This is one of them. From the ND game, it shows the relationship between
@PittBand
and
@Pitt_FB
.

Something that nobody's picked up on yet. Biden threw Obama and Hillary under the bus along with the previous administration and the Afghan government.
One more shot and I'm going to bed. Here's Ffrench on his record setting 96 yard reception. I've been blessed, last season I photographed Ollison's record setting 97 yard run.
2019 was a great year for me. I think I took more photos than any other year. Of all of them, this is my favorite shot.
Happy New Year to everybody in the Pitt Band family.
