Guernsey has always been super awesome to me and the games showcased this. Always loved playing and watching sport, all abilities and types, and it doesn’t surprise me at all how fantastic Gsy were as hosts, organisers and volunteers. What a great place to live-we are so lucky💚

This dog's name was Gunner. My uncle brought him back from WW2. He was raised and slept under my uncle's anti- aircraft gun. The gun crew shared their rations to feed him. By the time he was 18 months old, my uncle said he would stand up and look at the sky. If he laid back down

Meanwhile Blanchelande’s small, but successful, 6th form is continuing to expand all because of the failings of our last few assemblies who have completely and utterly trashed what we had ( it wasn’t perfect but it wasnt bad and it was significantly improving at that time)
What a ridiculous proposal from ESC to relocate the Education Office to the 6th Form Centre at Les Varendes. The EO is a 130-person office which could be located anywhere (including at La Mare). Have they lost leave of their senses?

We’re letting vile men (look at those being released early from prison) & in particular certain Muslim men, who’ve committed decades of terrible abuse, rape & grooming (see Rotherham, enquiry needed, urgently, warts & all) to roam free, because people in positions of authority

Has Gregg Wallace actually killed or assaulted someone 🤷♀️headline news for 3 days now. I feel for young men nowadays, cannot joke/banter or even brush accidentally against a woman and they’re accused of assault/sexism. Bit of a tw*T but leave him alone

@RobCurg Women + girls aren’t safe on the island. Police officers can act with impunity, as they know few people can afford the £450+ an hour legal fees to obtain bodycam footage proving that an officer assaulted them.

The full footage of the Manchester airport incident shows officers heroically taking on absolute thugs. This is in stark contrast to Britain as a whole which has become undeniably soft and weak. When it comes to law and order we are on a cliff edge. @reformparty_uk

Fantastic news . Now can we please see less of the Guernsey Police bashing - the unseen excellent range of work they do daily is commendable and often overlooked .
James Giles has now been found safe and well by searching police officers. Thank you to all the members of the public who have been in touch in the last two days with information.
