. @Issaamro who featured in The Settlers has posted videos of his latest harassment by settlers and soldiers. Our team has been in regular contact with him since the documentary and over the last 24 hours. We are continuing to monitor the situation.

I don’t remember Cheltenham festival being mentioned at all for much of my life. It was niche for those interested. Until covid. Now it seems to be everywhere - I don’t think it’s a good thing. Gambling has become ubiquitous.

The decision to move out of OT is the right one. feel that this is another statement about the way the women’s team is viewed by the club. The silence is loud. A rationalised OT would have made a great women’s stadium.

No photo. But pretty cool seeing HS2 supports and scale of construction as it gets ready to cross m6 toll. We need it up here.

Finally rider information; why there isn’t a dedicated website or app with live information- that is promoted - who is in the heats. Who is riding; The schedule; searchable results. Felt like I was in a special position with even simple info. This felt like easy win to engage.

No professional cameras =no cameras with detachable lenses. I got to keep hold of my camera. Couldn’t use it. In social media age, banning people making content is suicide. For an event not being televised absurd to have policy. pro with access: always take a better photo.

Drink - the bar is at best a tuck shop with no POS retail. The fella was left with a calculator. Beers were pricey but again a really poor range. No local options. No real options. Again I saw loads of people not drinking despite 28 degrees, dry air.

F&B - food available is the lowest quality - cheap burgers etc and pricey. Committing to long queue you miss racing. I saw few people eating despite not being allowed to bring food in and being across teatime Easily could have food lots of vendors- with healthy options.

I used to go to school on the trams on the right. Could see illumination trams from bedroom window. Sometimes change hurts.

Shocked to hear about the sudden and unexpected end to heritage tram operation in Blackpool. They are such a huge part of Blackpool’s identity, and a major tourist attraction. Removing this from a town that is already struggling is an appalling move.

Celebrating the wins are important- this scheme makes a huge difference to the way I cycle with my little one. Well done everyone.

Did you know that bollards and planters can make people’s lives better? We partnered with @s4plb to celebrate Levenshulme and Burnage's brilliant active neighbourhood scheme, and to showcase some of the positive effects it's had on local residents and people travelling through.

This is very sad. Smithfield Market set to close after almost 800 years City of London have ditched plans to relocate it to Dagenham. They want to use the old site for “mixed use cultural development”, whatever that means. France would never do this https://t.co/DSwUkIkb2a

Urgh. a sound premise lost in nostalgia.Trams were removed in the 50s because they ran in vehicle lanes and would often breakdown.Jamming up the street. Modern teams reallocate streets or use former railways. Concentrating on corbusier misses the reason and what makes new work.

Once upon a time, Leeds had trams, lots of them. They helped people get to work, come to the centre to shops and to meet each other for work and play. But then, catastrophically, for the city's long term future and prosperity in 1959....

In other places you just got warehouses and out of town retail in enterprise zones. If anything. Not a magic bullet.

This is what growth looks like. How? Exemption from the spiteful anti-growth Town and Country Planning Act. The Isle of Dogs was designated as an Enterprise Zone in 1981, meaning all land was deemed to have been granted planning permission for almost any kind of development.

That’s a photo of the Blackpool tramway from Bispham with the Norbreck Castle in the background where I once worked as waiter and later as Porter. Oh yeah, I’ve jumped over. Aim to wind this down.

Joe showed me the ropes at Salford when I first started- giving me the tour and over the next year; unique histories of the city. Great way to remember him. There’s a project that Joe started that I’d love to see completed one day. For another day.

Very pleased that @derivesalford & @SalfordCouncil have recognised Joe Martin with a street named after him in Weaste. Joe was a dedicated conservation officer who lived & breathed the Spirit of Salford, working hard to preserve our environment & heritage https://t.co/0raQVAtSMM
