I used Frank Adams' awesome T4p1_thruhole PCB and a 22-pin 1.25mm pitch FFC connector. Too impatient to wait for the Teensy 4.1 order to arrive, I used that board as a breakout, slapped on an RP2040 Zero, and translated the Arduino code to QMK firmware. Test video:

@joe_scotto Keycaps are from @taneyats’s awesome Shiratama (白玉キーキャップ ), originally design for MX switched. I tweaked it for Choc stems and printed in resin. It’s CC-BY-NC licensed, so personal use only! :-)

@joe_scotto Choc spacing and hot-swappable, plus a super-bendy 0.8mm PCB with kerf bending cuts. It flexes to follow the case’s contour, providing a 15° tilt and 10° tent.

Some big news! Retro Lite CM5 has been ported to Rocknix. We’ve now merged our changes upstream. Rocknix is Linux gaming distribution that uses ES as the front end and is pretty lightweight - exciting stuff. I also should have v1.1 of the carrier boards next week for testing.

Also trying out the (single layer) 1.6mm aluminium PCB for plates, would look cool if the case is made out of aluminium too
