Today would have been Danny Barrett's 60th birthday. A life tragically cut short, murdered by the British Army, an innocent 15-year-old boy. They told lies, branded him a gunman and tarnished his name. The people of Ardoyne will always speak your name with pride.

Every word of this. Culture Wars to distract, because they can roll out soundbites, have wee Photoshoots rather than put any effort into making the place liveable, affordable, better for all of us.
Much easier to argue about trans kids in schools that deal with holiday hunger, uniform allowances, free school meals, the missing permanent secretary of the DE, the SEN Places that aren’t and endless other big issues.

@GRobinsonDUP should probably concentrate on the way people are welcomed in his own constituency rather than worrying about Derry not wanting the murderers of their community recruiting in the city, especially while the British military are providing support to #genocide

Big Gavs constituency is falling apart with gangs rampaging looking for anyone off colour. Houses getting petrol bombed and families fleeing for their lives. First it was graffiti at the RVH now it’s a stall in Derry. Closer to home Gavin.

Racist vigilantes have taken over part of Connswater in East Belfast tonight, no doubt in response to recent arrests. The PSNI, already overstretched, are directing traffic away whilst the main agitators parade their faces on social media livestreams, chanting “get them out”.
