This is the kind of sleazy politics that turns people off entirely. @fordnation caught behind closed doors saying he will,“open up the #greenbelt”, then publicly saying he will “unequivocally not touch the greenbelt”, to now just opening doing it. It’s all around wrong. #onpoli

This is a disaster for all of Ontario. Doug Ford’s failure to properly oversee our Healthcare system, and his managed decline of it, will leave lasting scars. We need to stand up and fight for what’s left.

New today: the Ford government is taking an extended 102-day winter break until March 23. Critics say the premier is avoiding tough questions & “sees the legislature as a magnifying glass on his failures,” but govt house leader says there’s “important work” to do in their ridings

Are we sure it wasn’t A.I who just that interview with @RosieBarton and not @PierrePoilievre? One of the most robotic, scripted, disingenuous leader interviews in recent memory. No self reflection, no substance, just talking points and fumbles those too. @CBCNews #canada #cdnpoli

Since privatizing cataract surgeries: wait lists grew, the wealthy significantly increased access (which fell for everyone else) and costs doubled. Privatization of surgeries is a disaster for the public and for the public hospital system. https://t.co/eZi4vwZcgv

New: Premier Doug Ford has responded to the opposition leader’s accusation that his government is corrupt: “I don’t hold it against her. Whatever,” he said. “She gets passionate. It’s unfortunate she uses that language, it’s unparliamentary… she does it to get headlines.”

This is a note for @fordnation & @Metrolinx who are on year 15 of building a 19km track across Eglinton. Nearly 1km/year at this rate. Not counting the yrs the Cons reversed already started construction in the 90s. Do they want #Toronto to have transit at all?🤔#onpoli #topoli

Toronto, this 10km LRT line in Turkey took 5 years to build, and it doesn’t have any wires (there is a third rail, but it’s off when there is no train; so you can walk right across the tracks)…right along the waterfront. Seems like maybe we should do something like this along

Lots of credit to Chris d’Entremont for this interview, in what seems to be a very honest account of just how awful & insecure the #Conservative Party is right now. Threats, pushing, name calling, shake downs. No wonder Con MPs are running away from Pierre’s frat house. #cdnpoli

Folks, under the corrupt former Liberal government, pole dancers and lap dancers were not getting properly trained. That's why we're spending $10M to fix that. Thanks to David Piccini's rockstar strategy, Ontario's going to have world-class, Olympic-level Peelers, my friends.

Imagine being Bev Oda, who was vilified for months in Canada’s media cycle in the late Harper years for expensing a $16 orange juice on a trade mission. Only to see Canada yawning a decade later at ministers corruptly shelling out millions to “train” strippers and bartenders.

The math isn’t mathing: 22 elected Trustees (each $24,000/year) replaced by 1 gov’t appointee ($350,000/year). Meanwhile, Ontario schools have been short-changed $6.35 BILLION. Enough is Enough. Fund Our Schools. #DemocracyNotBill33 #OntEd
