Toronto should close some of the PATH gaps…the two obvious ones are the front street west (between cbc and the convention centre)…and the osgoode subway station gap…would love to see a plan to connect up to college and eventually over to the well…

A reminder that the TTC could just put shovels at every bus stop and this city would be a lot easier to get around in during snow storms…

People wonder why the TTC is so grungy. Their reliance on mops/buckets for station cleaning instead of automation or larger systems that filter the water would be a great place to start. Modernization needs to happen at every level.

They are gonna have to get the Northlander to be competitive with driving if they want it to be popular...3 hours to Huntsville isn't it...gotta get it under 2 hours or it's not gonna be worth it for most people...I'd hope for Timmins in under 8 hours...

Classic…TTC customer service just shuts down on one of their biggest, and likely highest risk nights of the year…🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Hi Toronto: @ttchelps will be closing today at 3 PM. We will be available again on Friday, Jan. 2, at 7 AM. Please follow @ttcnotices on X and subscribe to MyTTC e-Services for up-to-date service information. Use the SafeTTC app to report any safety concerns. Happy New Year!

If I was scheduled to perform at the Kennedy center. I think I would still do it, but invite potential 2028 Democratic Party Presidential contenders to perform with me…or invite experts on economics or vaccinations to perform along side me…

Which of the following two interactions with @TTChelps and @311toronto would you rather have? In the first, ttc helps has gone and made a ticket and shared it with the poster. In the second, the poster is told to call 311 themselves…

Highway robbery: For non-members, less than seven minutes on an e-bike is more expensive than the subway. And even for Citi Bike members, a ten-minute e-bike ride is as expensive as the subway. It's time for New York City to subsidize bike share and cap runaway Citi Bike prices

Alright, we are two days from new years and the city hasn’t communicated what their plan is to avoid this…last year they were saved by poor weather…if I’m a reporter I’m trying to get board members like @cllrainslie @DianneSaxe and @CllrJamaalMyers on the record that this year
#topoli…let’s talk about the gong show that was transit comms on new years…union looked like this…but @Metrolinx @GOtransit and @TTChelps haven’t tweeted a thing, in fact no comms about how to get to or from the event…at all…

The lowest cost solution is the best one...
Once again the City does a poor job of snow clearing at transit stops. The problem is particularly bad on streets like King where there is a windrow plowed adjacent to the tracks and dividing cars from loading areas. TTC talks a good line about safety, but fails where it counts.

cc: @oliviachow @cllrainslie @DianneSaxe ... a courtesy shovel program would go a long way to reducing major storm issues at bus stops...simple and easy solution to our recurring problems...

Toronto...this is Canmore...what do you notice? The bus stop is clean, there is a shovel at the stop...if there is a problem caused by a plow, anyone can fix it...the cost of this solution is about 10$ per stop...the city spends 160m$ on snow clearing, there are 9000 stops...this

@SwanBoatSteve Frankly @311Toronto should design these tickets that are publicly submitted to contain the publicly submitted data (including the location, the original tweet and the follow up). Maybe @cllrainslie can figure this out with the service delivery committee.

And just to be clear why this is good. For some reason it is going to take 3 days to clear this bus stop…which I’m sure @SwanBoatSteve will be interested in…

Toronto government is crazy…you tell them they are doing a good thing and they respond with “the person who did this has been reprimanded”…
@georgebell Thanks for contacting 311Toronto. We appreciate you flagging this. Service request reference numbers are not intended to be shared publicly. While they do not provide access to personal information, we understand the concern and have reminded teams of proper privacy practices.^le

(Also, @ttchelps just making the ticket instead of redirecting you to 311 seems like a better system as well)
