Totally get people being upset about the F1 nomination. Wouldn't have been my choice either. But I gotta admit: I enjoyed that film immensely. And I say that as some who hates Formula 1. #Oscars2026

there was a q&a after w dacosta and o'connell and the moderator was the worst i've ever seen. kept bragging about having seen the film a month ago, asked the most insipid questions ("so what was it like to play a bad guy?") and it turns out he's got 3 million tiktok followers lol
