1 yr ago, I built https://t.co/BBHdSkUAxJ to solve "university assignment" coverpage creation & "nearby stationery shops" printing issues. 📄 Posted on TikTok & it blew up. 📈 Been a wild, blessed ride so far and I am grateful! 🙏 Devs, pls check it out & share! 🖥️🤜💥🤛

Most people don’t get it: Computer Science ≠ software engineering. CS is research-heavy, math-driven, and about the science of computers. Bootcamps teach you how to build software. CS grads just often pick that up on their own.
Tech Twitter won’t tell you this: A 6-month bootcamp grad who builds consistently will always beat a 4-year CS degree holder who only studies theory.

The fact that a 4 year old kid can use a smartphone doesn't mean the kid is a genius, it means the engineers are.

If you’re up for iterating toward something app-focused, I’d be glad to see what you come up with. But once again, thank you so much for your input and dedication, I truly appreciate this. 🤜💥🤛

Also, quick note: tools like AI are fine for inspiration, but the key is tailoring the design closely to user needs and real usage patterns. That’s where your input as a designer would make a real difference.

This feels more like a promo/landing concept rather than an in-app experience. It’s definitely clean, but we’d need something that goes deeper into the app side of things, like quick buttons and minimal steps to task completion.

The challenge though is that https://t.co/KgrNR1L3xA is more of an app interface than a marketing site, so the design needs to reflect workflows, student interactions, and the actual features they’ll be using regularly. Right there and then. Just like how it currently is.

I checked out the link. The layout looks neat and has a nice modern landing-page vibe.

Hey, thanks a lot for putting the time into this and actually sending over a redesign concept 🙏. I really appreciate the initiative, it’s not every day someone volunteers to contribute. Thread 🧵
Hi @patrick_forreal 👋 I’ve prepared a sample redesign concept for https://t.co/Ao4Zu7jf1B — focused on a cleaner layout, modern UI, and mobile-first approach. Excited to hear your feedback when you get a chance 🙏 Find it here: https://t.co/SQzoSYyN9E

Yeah, it went wrong… Ofcouse it will go wrong, but what does this really mean? It means companies will cut corners anywhere they can to save money and squeeze out more output, even if it means discarding the very people who built them in the first place.

I hope this grief stays with me, because it's all the unexpressed love I didn't get to tell or show her.

The 10 hrs of programming daily for 2 weeks straight will yield something like this.... 🔥🔥🔥 Talk about it when it's ready to be talked about.
