A literature review is NOT a review without a critical synthesis. But some scholars struggle critically evaluating the sources! Here's my easy 5-step method ⤵ 1️⃣ Theoretical Questions: Peek into the author's mind 2️⃣ Definitional Questions: Are things explained clearly? 3️⃣

Your results don’t matter if your discussion is weak. You can’t publish on findings alone. You have to tell us what they mean. Your discussion section is your main argument If you're stuck on the discussion section, this is for you:

🧵1/ Are you a current or former children’s care home staff member? We’re conducting a research project @LivUni to understand how care home staff respond to missing children — and we need your insight. (Volunteers must be 18+ and have frontline or managerial experience.)

📚Making Words Matter Co-authored & published 3yrs ago. Shared w. a follower over the weekend who hadn't seen it & re-sharing for similar others. A vital read if you have any dealings w. CCE/CSE victims. Children need sfguarding leads to make the change. https://t.co/ADXXggc2SQ

Children can't consent to #Countylines yet are treated as choicers, not exploited victims. Whilst adults choosing sexwork are redrawn by saviours as sexually exploited victims who don't know they're exploited...

Profs know they can't say "he/she got involved in sexwork at age 13" in CSE. Yet it plays to Safeguarders/Police/CJS tune when parents too (unknowingly) say 🗣"He/she got *involved* in #Countylines at age ..." ❌CSE nor CCE children can consent/get involved in own trafficking.
