Love to see this, but the right answer should have been repeat the scan with longer ketosis, we're finally getting there

49-year-old with frequent VEs underwent rest Rb-82 imaging and 24-hr. carbohydrate-restricted diet for F-18 FDG PET to exclude cardiac sarcoidosis. Beta-hydroxybutyrate level < 0.2 mmol/L (normal > 0.3 mmol/L). What is your interpretation? Vote below.

If you adjust for LGE, FDG is no longer predictive of adverse events in patients with suspected inflammatory cardiomyopathy (it seems)

Through #cvNuc FDG-PET, a favorable response was more common when using moderate-to-high intensity steroids. After nearly 5 years, biopsy-proven and with preserved systolic function were less likely to experience adverse outcomes. https://t.co/b3AZsOdPTe #JACCIMG #Sarcoidosis
