Ratan Tata's take on bribery resonates. During my service career I was offered bribes in kind - never in cash - eg medical seats for my kids and an all-expenses paid holiday abroad for my family. I was blessed that my kids and my family craved for nothing !. Every time I told.

I was surprised but happy to read Swaminathan Aiyar's article. First, it went beyond economic policy to something tangible! Second, because his description of Muslim students qualified in Ayurveda engaged by AVS Kottaikal-the best known hospital for classical Ayurveda in India.

We saw Sitaare Zameen Par today at the DLF Mall in Vasant Kunj Delhi. Until intermission I agreed with the 3.5 on 5 ratings given by most movie critics. The first half of the film showed Aamir Khan's brilliant acting as well as the portrayal of neurodivergent young.

Maybe I sound exasperated but there are many reasons to fret. The Indore Municipal Corporation collects garbage from every single household- daily. It has monetised 72 items of kabaad and produces enough energy to run 150 buses a day from the wet waste generated by the city.

AI says "Judges are called "honorable" as a mark of respect for their position and the judicial system they represent. This tradition stems from historical practices where judges held significant authority and were seen as figures of dignity and integrity. The title "Your Honor".

@over2shailaja Mam my question is a bit off beat but I want to know why judges are deemed so godly and honourable I mean most of people probably won’t say honourable or scientist even if they have transformed entire world.

Retirement dates are known well in advance. The few SC judges I have had the privilege of " knowing" had begun making alternative arrangements many months ahead of their retirement. One moved into a rented house in the Safdarjung Development Area. Another moved into the Niti.

In other countries ( western) I am told there is high level corruption but not in the institutions responsible for upkeep of quality and standards. The CBI- NMC report is worrying particularly when NMC is relatively new.

@over2shailaja @MoHFW_INDIA Corruption has become a way of life for those demanding and those giving sometimes even without demand. And this is old. For government employees it is ऊपरी income.

This is shocking! Something draconian must be done by @MoHFW_INDIA!. How is this an improvement over the rotten Medical Council of India which was replaced by a nominated National Medical Commission. CBI uncovers major corruption scandal in medical education; ex-UGC chief,.

Kolhapuri chappals could protect their unique geographical tag by because the Maharashtra Chambers of Commerce slapped Prada with Kolhapur's GI tag. But why isn't India working to get a GI tag for say, special Ayurvedic oils and powders prepared by hand in specific.

You are so right, but what you say will only be heard if people hear it in language they understand. As a leading endocrinologist you and @DrAmbrishMithal must shout out ! First, to the parents of obese and near obese kids who will get sick prematurely. And next, to all.

There's a surge in popularity of GLP-1 drugs (#Ozempic, #Mounjaro), but they won’t solve India’s obesity crisis alone. Without lasting change in diet & exercise habits, weight regain is inevitable post-discontinuation. These are not paracetamol pills—be careful, judicious use.

I am surprised that no one asked any questions about the difference in IAS jobs and IAS officers ' attitudes toward their responsibility! . Each year more than 11 lakh aspirants sit for the exam. I thought dozens of people would ask questions about IAS jobs! Is staying an.

My reaction to the @ndtv story on a Rajasthan cadre officer's views on core and non -core IAS is this:. I agree that some IAS jobs have a strong element of core functions and some have comparatively routine functions. There is no comparison for example between being a joint.

As an 80+ year old, I want to weigh into this 70's versus 2025 debate on work life then and now. Here's my take:. The 1970s were linear but very limiting. The middle class was stretched between living as joint families or confronting the pressure of making ends meet. One was.

These things seem to matter more and more to new entrants! Flags, personal security, cars ( SUVs), gunmen and red number plates are among the things they value the most! Why? They have the power to change lives- hundreds even thousands of lives by understanding people's needs.

I am in tune with a video which shows a British educationist telling a British audience how Sweden has thrown ed- tech ( screen teaching )out of the window and brought back books, paper, pencils and classroom interaction. Watching children on a brief family visit to Canada (.

Iam not anti dog or amti stray dogs. But if the MCD doesn't get its act together by spaying, vaccinating and tracking stray dogs by locality, dog bites and horror stories will continue. I am surprised by the Courts, the MCD and the Health and Urban Development departments in.

I have visited this drain 4 times. It has several problems. The biggest is that a long, long stretch of the Nallah has been completely covered making cleaning of the debris impossible. On the opposite side unfinished poles have been erected in the Nallah which harbour solid.
