I’m not exactly new to going innawoods, but the first few pre-dawn walks in are always a little creepy. The brain has to reacclimate to all kinds of stuff it knows, but hasn’t called up in a bit. Even how to breathe. Then, 240,000 years of ancestral Mammoth Camp Memory kicks in.

Just watched a vid of a guy installing fence posts using some sort of gas-powered driver that looks like an auger. Posts are metal with wood stretchers and slats. No utility locates. No concrete. Didn’t even pre-dig the holes. I hate everything about this dawg

The guys at the grocery store wouldn’t sell me one. Bass Pro was out. Moving supply stores sell them but for like 50 bucks. Tons of them are marked with intimidating “FOR USDA USE ONLY PUNISHABLE BY LAW” labels. I just want an easy place to store tackle on a kayak!.
