Because trauma symptoms can remain hidden for years after a triggering event, some of us who have been traumatized are not yet symptomatic. Trauma, including one-time, multiple, or long-lasting repetitive events, affects everyone differently.

It doesn’t take much to mess you up if you have EDS. A prior infection of say mono, being reactivated by COVID - after dealing with whatever COVID did to your body already - makes your body susceptible to more than you want. Avoiding COVID is the best way to survive. The problem?

I was diagnosed with EDS prior to COVID. I was looking for answers prior to COVID. Then others wonder why when back in 2020 I started hearing about this virus, and began preparing, making cloth masks because we couldn’t obtain anything else, why I still wear masks now.
