Yes, the Premier League is more competitive than it’s been in years. Team quality is more clustered, with outliers at the top and bottom reduced. And with fewer goals per game, the sense that any match outcome is possible has never been truer than now.

Really good insight from @TheAnfieldWrap about the weekends matches and the table as a whole. A good one for @SamMcGuire90 and others who think our bad games just apply to us when actually the whole league is not playing well for big parts of matches.

Great point on @TheAnfieldWrap tht @SamMcGuire90 should take note of. Other games this weekend finished by one goal or was draw and no team finished the last 20 strongly. Arsenal were leggy vs Brighton

Absolutely laughable how LFC fans are worried about performances. 6 unbeaten, 3 wins in a row. After the run we were on, what do they expect. We were not going to be playing sincilating football but we needed to be more solid and get points on the board, which we’ve done.
